Richard Ward Salon ♡Ellen's in Chelsea♡

I recently was lucky enough to get my hands on an appointment at Richard Ward Salon in Chelsea to get my hair cut and blow dried. Quick update..if you haven't seen my hair loss YouTube video, I'll link it below for you, you won't know that about 6 months ago I started losing my hair in patches. I've been able to hide it pretty well so far but as you can imagine the idea of going to the hair dresses has been quite a daunting experience since this happened.

Anyway, back to the salon. Richard Ward is located in the Duke of York square in Chelsea, temptingly close to the Zara and also a stones throw away from the Sattchi gallery (I would defiantly recommend a visit). And we all know who Richard Ward is and if you don't he's a celebrity hairdresser, extremely sort after of course and as you can imagine his Salon of course demonstrates this.

On arrival I checked my coat and exchanged it for my cape/gown thing in the beautiful reception area and then was taken up to the waiting area/bar. The salon is split off into a variety of different rooms all catering for different things, cut, colour, spa treatments etc. Each room is full of beautiful natural light and bustling with chatting people having there hair made over.

So once I'd sat down with the hairdresser I of course mentioned my hair loss and he immediately made me feel super comfortable and I straight away felt completely safe in this capable hands. I of course was - we changed the parting and added a few long layers for volume. Finishing with a 'Chelsea blow dry' leaving my hair super bouncy and full. My hairdresser was Senior Stylist Foster - I'm going to leave a link to his page here because it can definitely tell you more about him than I can but all you need to know from my was that he was so talented & so lovely and I honestly could not recommend him to you more.

The round up:

Price - it's expensive, but for a top London salon this is expected. The level of service matches the price you are paying. Cut and blow drys range from £65 - £170.

The Salon - The Salon was beautiful and the range of treatment is vast - I've left a link below to this:

Location - under a 5 min walk from Sloane Square Station.

Overall my experience at Richard Ward was extremely enjoyable even with the hairdresser fear. The salon was beautiful and full of extremely talented and fun people. Exactly what you want from your hairdressers.
